Baggage Check Options

Curbside Baggage Check
Curbside baggage check is available at most U.S. airports up to six (6) hours prior to flight departure. Northwest's curbside baggage check is fully compliant with all FAA security requirements and you will need to present required documentation and photo-identification. Review Baggage Information for Northwest's domestic baggage allowance.

After checking your baggage:

  • If you have a boarding pass from nwa.com check-in or the Self-Service Check-in Kiosk, proceed directly to your gate.
  • If you need a boarding pass, see a Northwest agent.

Curbside baggage check cannot be used for:

  • International itineraries including Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
  • Baggage that exceeds piece allowance, is oversize or overweight.
  • Pets traveling as checked baggage.
