Through one of the world's most extensive hub networks, SkyTeam offers a worldwide system of 16,409 daily flights covering 841 destinations in 162 countries.

Continental Airlines and Copa Airlines will be leaving the SkyTeam Alliance on October 24, 2009. The last day to earn miles on Continental- or Copa- operated flights is October 24, 2009. Retro credit requests for travel prior to October 24 will be accepted for six months from the date of travel. Award tickets may continue to be booked through October 24, 2009 for travel through October 24, 2010

EARN MILES
SkyMiles members can earn SkyMiles miles across the SkyTeam Network.
That means miles for flights on 14 airlines in a single frequent flyer account! And better yet, Elite Qualifying Miles are available on any of the 14 SkyTeam partners. Be sure to supply the airline you fly with your SkyMiles number when making your reservation or when checking in for your flight.

WORLDPERKS AWARD TRAVEL
Redeem your SkyMiles miles for award travel on the SkyTeam network.
As a member of SkyTeam, Northwest can offer SkyMiles members access to hundreds of new award destinations. Throughout the SkyTeam network, you have access to 841 destinations for your next award trip. Fly Alitalia to Italy. Visit Korea or Australia on Korean Air. FREQUENT FLYER BENEFITS
The SkyTeam Alliance has SkyTeam Frequent Flyer Elite tiers.
Because most SkyTeam members retain their own frequent flyer program, the SkyTeam Global Alliance has created a SkyTeam Frequent Flyer Elite program so that all carriers can easily recognize others' frequent fliers, in order to deliver the appropriate benefits to the people who've earned and deserve them.

SkyMiles Medallion membership will equate to one of the two Elite tiers within SkyTeam. This will entitle you to be recognized when flying across the SkyTeam network, and allow for you to receive the Elite benefits that you've earned when flying on our SkyTeam partners.

SkyMiles Platinum Elite members will be SkyTeam Elite Plus.
Your SkyMiles Medallion cards will have a SkyTeam Elite Plus logo on them to make sure you are even more recognizable when flying on the SkyTeam network.
