Another great SkyMiles® feature is that you can have your SkyMiles award tickets issued for friends and family to enjoy. Follow the same easy steps for making other ticket reservations. Simply tell the reservations agent the name of the passenger that is to be on the ticket. All mileage required to issue the SkyMiles award ticket must be earned under one account. Pooling or combining of miles between members' accounts is not permitted.
For security reasons, we will mail Trip Summary and Receipts (TSRs) or paper tickets only to the member and address named in the account from which the mileage is redeemed. Please note that it is your responsibility to forward the ticket or TSR to the traveler.
You may also pick up tickets or receipts at a Northwest Airport Ticket Office. Again, for security reasons, only the SkyMiles member whose miles are being used can pick up tickets or receipts. Photo identification is required. See Ticketing Options and Fees for fee and delivery options.
It is not possible to transfer SkyMiles miles to any other airline's loyalty program; neither can you transfer mileage accumulated in another airline's program into SkyMiles.
