Information about a Lost Ticket Refund

In order to effectively assist you with your request, you need to submit a Lost Ticket application listing your ticket number. Here are some suggestions regarding where you may find the ticket number:

  • If purchased from a Travel Agency, contact their office for a copy of the ticket or ticket number.
  • If paid by check, the ticket number (13 digits) should be written on the the back of the cancelled check.
  • If paid by credit card the number appears on the charge form statement.

You may submit your request by downloading and printing the Lost Ticket Application Form, filling in the required information, and mailing it to us at the address below:

Please note:

  • All refunds are subject to audit and final approval by Northwest Airlines Passenger Refunds Department.
  • Refunds are credited to the form of payment on the original ticket.
  • Please allow one to three months processing time for lost ticket claims.
