DOUBLE AIR MILES® Reward Miles Promotion

As a special offer to AIR MILES Reward Program members, Northwest Airlines is awarding DOUBLE AIR MILES reward miles every time you fly a qualifying roundtrip on Northwest Airlines or KLM Royal Dutch Airlines between July 1, 2009 and September 30, 2009.
For each qualifying roundtrip, Northwest Airlines and KLM will award 100 reward miles — that’s DOUBLE the standard award of 50 reward miles! All AIR MILES reward miles are awarded in addition to WorldPerks® miles.

How To Register:
  1. You must be a WorldPerks member to participate in this Promotion. If you are not a member, enroll online or call 1-800-225-2525 to receive an account number. There is no cost to join.
  2. Review terms and conditions below.
  3. Register for the DOUBLE AIR MILES reward miles Promotion by entering your WorldPerks number under "Register me for this promotion!" and clicking "Continue". You must register prior to travel, but not later than September 30, 2009. Late or retroactive registration will not be accepted.
  4. Print the confirmation page for your records.
  5. Once you've registered, make your qualifying reservations at nwa.com, contact your travel agent or call Northwest Airlines at 1-800-225-2525. Qualifying travel must occur after registration and through
    September 30, 2009.


Terms and Conditions:  

  1. Earn DOUBLE AIR MILES reward miles when you fly Northwest Airlines or KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Valid on qualifying flights completed between July 1, 2009 and September 30, 2009.
  2. This promotion is not transferable nor is it available upon request.
  3. Passenger must be a member of both the AIR MILES Reward Program and Northwest Airlines WorldPerks frequent flyer program and must register an AIR MILES Collector number with WorldPerks prior to flight to receive credit in both programs. If you are not a WorldPerks member, visit nwa.com/worldperks/enroll or call 1-800-225-2525 to receive your account number. There is no cost to join.
  4. Passenger must register online with Northwest Airlines in advance of travel to receive DOUBLE reward miles. To register, visit http://www.nwa.com/offers/amsummer09.
  5. No retroactive reward miles will be given for failure to register AIR MILES Collector number with WorldPerks prior to travel.
  6. No retroactive reward miles will be given for failure to register for the DOUBLE AIR MILES reward miles Promotion prior to travel.
  7. Passengers must earn WorldPerks credited flight miles on a qualifying paid ticket on a Northwest, Northwest Airlink or KLM operated flight to or from Canada to be eligible for AIR MILES reward miles credit for that flight.
  8. AIR MILES reward miles credit is normally 25 AIR MILES reward miles per one-way Northwest, Northwest Airlink or KLM operated flight to or from Canada (qualifying segments take-off or land in Canada). DOUBLE AIR MILES reward miles Promotion awards 50 reward miles for qualifying one-way segments.
  9. No AIR MILES reward miles credit will be awarded for AIR MILES redemption flights, WorldPerks award flights or for any other flights in which WorldPerks miles are not awarded.
  10. Promotion is not open to residents of Quebec.
  11. Additional restrictions apply. Northwest Airlines is the final authority regarding interpretations of these rules.
