2008 Alaska Airlines Upgrade Certificates Request

WorldPerks® members who have earned Platinum Elite or Gold Elite status for the 2008 program year are eligible to receive unlimited* complimentary, space available upgrades on Alaska Airlines-operated flights.

There are two ways to request a First Class upgrade when traveling on Alaska Airlines:

  • When traveling on any fare type, simply present your Platinum Elite or Gold Elite card at any Alaska Airlines gate or check-in counter and request to be placed on the First Class upgrade waitlist.
  • When traveling on full fare types, contact Alaska Airlines reservations at 1-800-ALASKAAIR and request a First Class upgrade using an electronic upgrade certificate.

*Each Platinum Elite and Gold Elite member is entitled to receive unlimited upgrades on AS-operated flights on the day of departure at the gate or check-in counter. Electronic upgrade certificates are limited to eight one-way certificates per Elite member. The last day to request 2008 WorldPerks program year certificates is January 31, 2009. Requests after that date will not be honored.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. 2008 upgrade certificates are available for request through January 31, 2009.
  2. Certificates are valid for travel March 1, 2008 through February 28, 2009.
  3. You must be a 2008 WorldPerks Platinum or Gold Elite member.
  4. Members may only register once and may only receive one set of eight, one-way electronic upgrade certificates.
  5. Upgrades are subject to the terms and conditions.
  6. Offer is limited to WorldPerks members residing in North America.
  7. The last day to request 2008 WorldPerks program year certificates is January 31, 2009. Requests after that date will not be honored.
