Due to the eruption of Mt. Redoubt in Alaska, operations have been limited or suspended both yesterday and today. Northwest Airlines has issued the following event waiver.

Passengers ticketed for travel March 27 through March 30, 2009 to, from or through Anchorage, Alaska (ANC) may:

• Reschedule travel to begin between March 28 and April 6, 2009 in the same cabin of service as originally scheduled, without penalty or administrative change fees, subject to availability.
• Reschedule travel to begin between April 7 and April 14, 2009 in the same class of service as originally scheduled, without penalty or administrative change fees, subject to availability.

Self-service rebooking is available. Customers are encouraged to reschedule their trip under these waiver guidelines using nwa.com's Manage My Reservations
