 Pre-pay luggage

While checking in online, Northwest customers traveling in the U.S. may select the number of bags they intend to check and pre-pay any applicable luggage fees with a credit card. Changes to the number of pre-selected bags will be allowed at an airport self-service check-in kiosk. Luggage charges will be applied and a receipt will be available when luggage tags are printed at the airport.

Go Mobile with nwa.com
Travelers accessing nwa.com or mobile.nwa.com using PDAs and web-based cell phones are now able to view nwa.com in its entirety in a low-graphics, mobile format. Northwest is the first airline to provide its complete web site in this format for mobile users. Customers using mobile devices can easily navigate through nwa.com and enjoy all of the features and functionality available on the full-graphics site including shopping for flights, purchasing tickets, checking in for flights (boarding pass still required for security purposes), changing reservations, selecting seats and more.

FlyNow^sm Fee
Northwest Airlines' FlyNow option allows customers to confirm an alternate, qualifying domestic flight operating anytime during the day with the same origin and destination for $25. This added Northwest convenience is a reasonably priced alternative to standing by for another flight. FlyNow provides you with more options, greater control and the comfort of knowing that you are confirmed on your new desired flight.

The FlyNow option is available to customers checking in on the day of departure at nwa.com or at a Self-service Check-in Kiosk for flights within the continental United States, Alaska and to/from Canada.

Customers traveling on refundable tickets may continue to confirm same-day flight changes without incurring a fee.

Note: Customers have the ability to standby for earlier flights the entire day of departure. WorldPerks Elite customers will not incur a fee if a standby seat becomes available. Effective April 24, 2007, Non-Elite customers traveling on non-refundable tickets will incur a $25 fee once they have boarded the alternate flight.

Download Your Travel Itinerary
No matter where you purchased your Northwest ticket, you can now download your Northwest Airlines itinerary to your Outlook and/or Google calendars. Simply click the "Add to Calendar" button from the "Purchase Confirmation" page or the "Manage My Reservations" section on nwa.com.

Once downloaded, your calendar entries will provide:

• Change Past Travel Reservations - Thinking about rescheduling a cancelled trip? Visit Manage My Reservations on nwa.com to change previously scheduled reservations. Simply retrieve your past travel reservation and follow the links to change reservations.
• Add Special Requests - Add wheelchair, electric cart or other special needs requests. On International flights, request special meals if you have any dietary requirements.
• Schedule Change Flights - If your flight has been rescheduled due to a schedule change, you can review your reservation and select alternate flights if your reservation qualifies.
• Mileage Upgrades on Existing Reservations - Upgrade existing reservations with WorldPerks miles or change existing reservations then upgrade with miles.
• Refunds & Exchanges - You can make changes to your E-ticket or request a refund online.
• My Electronic Credit Vouchers - View your Northwest electronic credit vouchers by logging in with your WorldPerks account number, last name and PIN.
